World Bub

Game Summary:

Piko finds himself in a mysterious place known as the Bobolo River, which is somehow connected to the afterlife. Chilzby recruits Piko to be his representative in the World Bub Tournament so he can gain control over the Bobolo River as a reward.

Piko sets out on this journey to defeat his sworn enemy Ducklin, and get revenge for how he's wronged him in the past. He faces foes along the way and recruits new friends to help him. Buy power-up abilities and bubble tea cards to enhance Piko's abilities in this strategy game with deck-building and card elements.

This strategy card game was developed in RPG Maker MZ.

We created this for the Global Game Jam 2025. The entire game and all of its artwork were created in a single week by Steve Rakar and Michelle Rakar. Bug fixes and minor updates were added the following week.

The theme this year was "Bubble", which fit into the Bobolo River setting and aligned with Piko's water-based abilities.
